THE IEP ADVOCATE maintains this website, any courses offered and other linked and related sites (the “Site”) for the use of its customers, vendors, students, and other Site users (“Users”) upon agreement to the following terms. Please read the terms carefully before using the Site. Use of this website indicates acceptance of these “Terms of Use” and forms a binding agreement between you and THE IEP ADVOCATE If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this Site.

1. Use of Site

THE IEP ADVOCATE provides various materials, information, quizzes, tests, questions, articles, news, and other information on this and related sites and in courses offered through this site (the “Materials”). THE IEP ADVOCATE authorizes each User to view and download (if downloadable) copies of the Materials for use by the user’s family only. Materials may be downloaded and printed provided that Users make no modifications to the Materials and you retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained in the original Materials on any copies of the Materials.


Users may not modify the Materials at this Site in any way or reproduce, share or distribute them without WRITTEN permission from the copyright holder. Users will keep all Materials confidential, and will not sell, auction, loan, rent, give away, or otherwise reveal the Materials or their contents, to any other person or entity. Any breach of these Terms of Use automatically terminates your authorized use of the Site.

As a User, you warrant that you are not an agent or employee of any other parent advocacy company and will use the Site and Materials solely for the purpose of helping your child, or as part of official IEP Advocate training.

THE IEP ADVOCATE and certain other brands, trademarks, and service marks are marks of THE IEP ADVOCATE and its affiliates. The Materials on this Site are copyrighted, and any unauthorized use of any Materials on this Site may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws.

5. Hyperlinks

Links to external websites are provided solely as a convenience to you. THE IEP ADVOCATE has not reviewed all of these external websites, does not control, and is not responsible for any of these sites or their content. If you decide to access any of the external websites linked to this Site, you do so entirely at your own risk.

6. No Warranty

The Materials provided at this site are provided “as is” without any warranties of any kind including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property. THE IEP ADVOCATE further does not warrant the accuracy and completeness of the Materials at this Site. THE IEP


ADVOCATE may make changes to the Materials at this Site, or to the services and prices described in them, at any time without notice. The Materials at this Site may be out of date, and THE IEP ADVOCATE makes no commitment to update the Materials at this Site.

In no event will THE IEP ADVOCATE, its suppliers, or other third parties mentioned at this Site be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, those resulting from lower test scores, interruption of services, or inaccurate information) arising out of the use, inability to use, or the results of the use of this Site, any websites linked to this Site, or the Materials or information contained at any or all such sites, whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory and whether or not advised of the possibility of such damages. If your use of the Materials or information from this Site results in the need for servicing, repair, or correction of equipment or data, you assume all costs thereof.

The Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States of America. Failure to enforce strict performance of the Terms of Use of Use shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. THE IEP ADVOCATE may assign its rights and duties under the Terms of Use without notice to any party at any time.

9. Effective Date and Updates

The Terms are effective as of February 8th , 2023 and are subject to change without notice by THE IEP ADVOCATE at any time. Please check for changes regularly. Your use of this Site after such changes constitutes your agreement to such changes.

10. SMS Terms of Use & Privacy


The IEP Advocate Inc. and TheIEPadvocate.com utilizes an SMS (Short Messaging Service) program as a means to communicate with you.  We may provide information about IEPs/504s, promotional offers, and other information about our services and information that relates to our industry. Additionally, at times we will engage in extracurricular activities, like Prayer Groups, to which you may be invited. 


OPT-IN: You can opt-in using various methods: 1) Send a Text from your Device to +1813-320-3206 and type IEP to join our list. Please note that "IEP" is our primary list and you may be invited to other lists that we offer utilizing the same number: +1813-320-3206, for example, EVENTS is another list. 2) You may opt-in from our Website 3) If you are signed up for our newsletter, you may receive opt-in information. When you use these methods, you are giving your permission for The IEP Advocate to text you for marketing purposes  


OPT-OUT: You can opt out of all SMS from us by texting STOP to +1813-320-3206. At that point, you will no longer receive SMS messages from our company from the number +1813-320-3206. If you would like to opt out of one particular List, simply text STOP (insert list name here) - for example, "STOP events" You may choose to opt in again by using the opt-in methods we provide.

SUPPORTED WIRELESS CARRIERS: Our SMS provider works with all major carriers across the USA and Canada. Our reach even extends to Puerto Rico and some other countries in the Caribbean. Due to the complexity of cellular networks, coverage can vary by number type, and location.  


FREQUENCY: On average, we expect to send 4 messages per month per list. If you would like to opt out of a specific List, you may respond from which list you would like to be removed. 


MESSAGE & DATA RATES: We disclose that message and data rates from your cellular carrier may apply based on your program and agreement with them. If you have questions, please contact your carrier.

Privacy Statement

1. What information do we collect and what do we do with it?

When you enroll as a student or subscriber (“learner” or “client”) on our site or related courses, as part of the enrolling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name and email address.


Email marketing: We may send you emails about our site and related course(s), registration, course content, your course progress, or other updates. We may also use your email to inform you of other information that we deem may be of interest or helpful to you based on core subject matter, or about changes to a course, survey you about your usage, or collect your opinion.

2. How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information on our site, email us, make a purchase, participate in the course, or sign up for access to information, you imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.


How do I withdraw my consent?

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.


Payment: If you make a purchase on our site, we use a third-party payment processor such as Stripe or PayPal. Payments are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction.


All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.


PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our site and related courses and its service providers.

4. Third-Party Services

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.


However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related

become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located. As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.


Once you leave our course website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website terms of Service.


Links: When you click on links on our course site, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.
